Mining & production

We work together with salt mines which we know well and can trust. Sourcing of high quality raw salt at mine is essential. To ensure quality we ourselves travel to the mines for selection, and make sure the raw product meets the standard.

After the salt is transported from the mine to our factory in Karachi, the salt is prepared for production, the grinding, sieving and packing process.

Laboratory testing

Our salt is tested by recognised independent and accredited laboratories, in accordance with EU directives for food stuffs and more specifically food grade salt.
By doing so we ensure our products are suitable for consumption.

Branded, shelf ready and bulk packing

From the Source offers private labels and national brands the possibility to pack Himalayan salt in consumer packs.
We work together with co-packers to realise your goals.

Shipment / export

Bulk deliveries throughout Europe including the Nordics and UK are made from the Netherlands.
Our expediting team in Karachi handles all shipments and transport from Pakistan to a port or address of your choice.
